Interim Operations Manager for a growing electronics and mechanical assembly company. Major benefits in incoming quality, supplier scheduling and production output were achieved. Significant contribution to Design for Manufacture; creation of process procedures for manufacturing operations. Eliminated all customer arrears within 13 weeks. Interim Quality Manager for a TS16949 Internal auditing and implementation for a spring assembly manufacturer in Milton Keynes. The task was to ensure that compliance was to a level such that the external assessor would raise no major non-compliances and as few minor as possible. This was achieved by thorough internal auditing, issuing corrective actions, and then following them up, to expedite progress towards closure. Trained and facilitated staff in the use of FMEA techniques. Project/Programme Manager for a plastics moulding company, introducing interior trim for the automotive industry. Brought £600k new plant up to production readiness; achieved customer product sign-off (PPAP) for 14 part numbers. Quality Consultant to establish and implement a Final View Facility for a major manufacturer of bearings for the automotive industry, based in Kilmarnock.
