Interim quality manager
The role will invariably be focused upon obtaining and maintaining quality compliance of the goods and services supplied.
The interim quality manager's responsibilities will also include quality reporting, staffing and staff training, quality control and compliance, including the co-ordination of quality requirements with other departments.

The role in detail
- Formulating the quality system with company departments, gaining and maintaining the required external and customer approvals.
- Improving the company's internal operations and quality of purchased goods and services, delivering enhanced product or service quality.
- Development and delivery of training programmes for enhanced in-house quality performance.

- Providing a pro-active and responsive service to customers, by anticipating quality issues, responding quickly to non-compliant incidents and resolving these quickly to the customer's satisfaction.
- Regular communication with staff and process owners, to provide feedback on the effectiveness of their process operation and control systems.
- Quality reporting and posting of quality data to provide company-wide information about quality performance.
