Staff / Team / Procedures / Systems Development

  • Enforcing of company engineering standards including development and implementation of engineer training.
  • Development of engineering personnel, upskilling and re-training as appropriate, to strengthen and adapt the technical support offered by the company.
  • Enabling engineering staff to acquire professional accreditation and recognised qualifications.
  • Reporting and publishing of engineering performance data and maintaining engineering records in accordance with company and industry standards.

Plant Engineering / Maintenance

  • Maintaining and developing factory engineering systems and procedures, in support of the production and manufacturing functions.
  • Engineering and management of capital and revenue projects including construction / building, services and plant upgrades, within agreed time, scope and budgetary limits.
  • Responsibility for the running of all site services through engineering supervisors and workforce.
  • Developing new craft skills and working practices as may be required to support new technology and processes.
  • Development / introduction of integrated maintenance management systems.
  • Control of all planned and preventative maintenance across the company's site(s).

Product Development

  • Management of the product development function within the company.
  • Liaison with the company's customers to ensure product compliance, performance, configuration and operating requirements for new products and processes.
  • Working with in-house design engineers and workforce to develop and deliver new products and technical services required to meet the company programme.
  • Launching of new products and transfer of technology and equipment developed in-company.
  • Management of the introduction of new manufacturing processes and products.
