Interim Project Manager Implements IT Project Management System
Redmayne supplied a PRINCE qualified interim project manager to implement a project management system within Advantage West Midlands, Birmingham HQ and supported the UK wide introduction of the new IT system into other Regional Development Agencies in the UK.
Our interim project manager conducted workshops and training sessions, to explain the workings of the new system, to ensure familiarity and to build up user confidence in the new project management system. Other project related activities included liaison with the project management system supplier and integration of the IT system into the Regional Development Agency UK wide network.
Outcomes
Advantage West Midlands is one of the nine regional agencies operating in UK. Established by the Government in 1999, the RDA acts as a strategic driver for economic and manufacturing industry development in the area. The introduction and operation of the new IT project management system will ensure that AWM achieves its project delivery targets within the West Midlands region. Following completion of this programme, all Regional Development Agencies throughout the UK were equipped with the means to monitor and control their projects effectively and efficiently.
