Interim Manufacturing Manager appointed by Advantage West Midlands
Our interim manufacturing manager was appointed by Advantage West Midlands (AWM), one of the nine regional agencies operating in UK, to appraise medical devices proposals from companies within the West Midlands area. Based in Birmingham, AWM is a strategic driver for manufacturing operations development in the West Midlands. One key objective for Advantage West Midlands is to develop a diverse and dynamic manufacturing industry base, by promoting enterprise, innovation and inward investment to secure, retain and grow more manufacturing and services businesses.
Advantage West Midlands - Manufacturing Industry Clusters
AWM develops and publicises business needs analysis reports for the various manufacturing industry clusters. Cluster project managers work with partners including Business Links and other business partners, Learning and Skills Councils and Higher Education Institutions, on the preparation and development of manufacturing technology cluster proposals.
Our interim manufacturing manager supported this important Advantage West Midlands technology programme, by managing the medical technology cluster activity and appraising applications for funding cluster development of new manufacturing technology and associated manufacturing support services.
